(Eagle News)—President Rodrigo Duterte is mulling appointing a Chinese businessman at the helm of the National Food Authority.
“I’m looking for a Chinese who’s been there in the business maybe 20 years,” he said.
NFA administrator Jason Aquino has gone on leave.
The President had said he would appoint General Rolando Bautista at the helm of the NFA, but changed his mind and said he would appoint him as Social Welfare Secretary instead.
The NFA has come under fire following an alleged rice crisis in the country.
