Duterte keeps up ‘very good’ rating in SWS survey

(Eagle News)– President Rodrigo Duterte has maintained a “very good” net satisfaction rating for the last quarter of 2016, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

Results showed that the satisfaction rating of the President was at +63 dropping by only one point compared to his rating in September of +64.

SWS classifies net satisfaction ratings of at least +70 as “excellent”; those +50 to +69 as “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad”; as well as -70 and below, “execrable.”

Some 77 percent of the 1,500 adults nationwide who participated in the survey said they are satisfied with the performance of the President, 13 percent are not satisfied, while 10 percent are undecided.

Mindanao gave an “excellent” mark to Duterte, but his rating in the area went down by 11 points compared to his September rating.

The survey has sampling error margins of ±3 points for national percentages, ±4 for Luzon and ±6 points for Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao.
