(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday, Feb. 14, lashed out at former Senator Francisco Tatad for allegedly spreading rumors about his health.
“There’s a border between press freedom and pag-babastos ng tao. Pag una kitang makita, iwasan mo ako. P**a** i**, sampalin kita,” Duterte said after accusing Tatad of spreading rumors the chief executive had had a kidney transplant.
He also urged Tatad, who he said was a diabetic, to prove his viriity.
Two years ago, Duterte already lashed out at the former senator for speculating the President had gone to Hong Kong for treatment.
The Palace has repeatedly assured the public the President, who is in his seventies, was in the pink of health despite his grueling schedule.
