(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, April 23, has appointed Jose Arturo Garcia Jr. as general manager of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
Garcia, who was the officer in charge of the MMDA before his appointment, became MMDA general manager on April 18.
His appointment paper was, however, only released on Monday.
Also appointed to posts were Javey Francisco and Pia Cristina Bersamin, a daughter of Supreme Court Associate Justice Lucas Bersamin.
Francisco was named commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission, while the younger Bersamin as judge of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 198.
