(Eagle News)–Several agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency will get a cash reward following the slay of alleged big-time party drugs dealer Steven Pasion.
President Rodrigo Duterte himself made the announcement in a speech in Cauayan, Isabela on Wednesday, March 13.
“Sabi ko, announce mo one million five kasi mukhang tatlo ata ang patay. Mukhang tatlo. Sabi ko may prize kayo,” Duterte said.
Pasion was killed in a buy-bust operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Monday, March 11.
His live-in partner Sophie Mercado was also arrested.
PDEA said it was monitoring two celebrities whose names figured in the cellphone of Pasion.
One of the celebrities, PDEA said, had asked for 200 ecstasy pills.
The agency said it was still unclear if these were for the person’s own consumption or if they were for distribution.
