QUEZON City, Philippines – Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s transition committee presented his 8-point economic agenda. Briefly, this includes: continuation of macro-economic policies; faster infrastructure spending; encouraging direct foreign investments; encouraging agricultural development strategies; improving management systems; strengthening the basic education system; providing scholarship in tertiary education as well as improving the taxation system. The transition committee is also expecting that corruption in the country will be lessened.
