(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday, Aug. 14, sacked the Philippine Military Academy comptroller after he allegedly misused P15 million worth of cadets’ allowances.
“Send the guy to hell. That’s an order,” Duterte said after signing the dismissal order against Hector Maraña in Malacañang.
According to Duterte, Maraña faces up to 6 to 12 years in prison.
Maraña’s sacking comes after the dismissal of around 20 military officials allegedly involved in the P17-million V. Luna Medical Center mess.
