(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to meet with officials of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan.
Duterte, who is chair of the ruling party, will at the same time meet with Rogelio Garcia, who claimed he had been elected the new party president in an assembly at Amoranto stadium in Quezon City on July 27, and his group.
The meeting will reportedly take place today, Thursday, Aug. 9.
Pimentel has said Garcia’s group would face sanctions for “unauthorized” use of party name.
