Earthquakes hit northern, southern parts of the country

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Earthquakes struck parts of northern and southern Philippines on Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

The first earthquake took place at 7:28 a.m., at 22 kilometers northwest of Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte.
Intensity 1 was felt in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and Intensity 2 in Claveria, Cagayan.There was no reported damage yet.

The PHIVOLCS also noted a 4.1-magnitude quake in Saranggani, Davao Oriental at 8:51 am.

A 3.7-magnitude earthquake also hit Wao, Lanao del Sur at 10:04 am.
