Easterlies affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas

Northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon

(Eagle News) — The easterlies are affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the northeast monsoon is also affecting Northern Luzon.

PAGASA said Visayas, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as a result.

Flashfloods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains are possible.

Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will also have cloudy skies with rains.

Ilocos Region is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized thunderstorms.

Northern, Central and Southern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA said, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
