Easterlies continue to affect S. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao on Thursday, May 2

(Eagle News)–The easterlies continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Thursday, May 2, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

According to PAGASA, as a result, Caraga, Davao Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.

Bicol Region, Visayas and the rest  of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, PAGASA said.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized thunderstorms.

Extreme Northern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate winds and moderate coastal waters, while the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA said.
