EBC opens doors for public service as part of activities commemorating its 50th anniversary

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Eagle Broadcasting Corporation opened its doors to the public again on Saturday, February 24, so they could avail of public services offered by several government agencies.

The public service event, organized by EBC’s AM station, Radyo Agila, was conducted in cooperation with different government agencies like Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), PAG-IBIG and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Hundreds of people trooped to the EBC’s main office at no. 25 Central Avenue, Diliman Quezon City so they could avail of the various public services offered by these government agencies through their representatives who set up a satellite desk at the EBC lobby.

The Legal Aid Clinic of the New Era University – College of Law also participated by offering free legal service to those in need.

The public service event, “Paglilingkod sa Bayan, Serbisyo para sa Mamamayan, is just part of the 50th anniversary celebration activities of the EBC.

EBC will be turning 50 in April this year.
