The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office will undertake concrete reblocking with asphalt overlaying activities at EDSA southbound direction between Estrella Street to Buendia Avenue, Makati City on October 30, 2015 (Friday) to November 2, 2015 (Monday).
Concrete reblocking will be done beginning 11 PM on October 30 to 5 AM of October 31 to be followed by epoxy injection and asphalt sealing at 11 PM of October 31 to 5 AM of November 1. Final asphalting works will be performed at 11 PM of November 1 at 5 AM of the next morning (November 2).
Sectional asphalt overlaying activities will also be done by DPWH South Manila District Engineering Office from October 29 to November 1 along EDSA Pasay City from Taft Avenue to Pasay/Makati Boundary near EDSA/Tramo Flyover.
Traffic flows along EDSA would be affected especially those going to and from southern provinces for the traditional “Undas” or All Saints’ and All Souls Day. Motorists are advised to plan trips accordingly or take other alternative routes.
DPWH has also coordinated the EDSA road works with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the PNP Highway Patrol Group for traffic management assistance. (DPWH)
