(Eagle News)–The National Capital Region Police Office has sacked five police officers, including a precinct commander, for allegedly urging complainants not to file a case against a Chinese national for sexual molestation.
In an interview, NCRPO Chief Guillermo Eleazar said relieved were the commander of the Police Community Precinct 1 in Pasay and the four investigators on duty the night the Chinese was reported to have molested three girls in an amusement park.
Eleazar said apart from allegations the police officers were facilitating a settlement between the Chinese national and the girls, there were allegations the policemen were hinting about getting a “share” from such.
He said the allegations came from the mother of one of the complainants.
Eleazar said the police officers are now in “floating” status.
