(Eagle News)– Atty. Rogelio Bato, lawyer of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa and his son Kerwin, was killed in an ambush in Tacloban City.
Aside from Atty. Bato, a 15-year old girl who was with him was also killed.
The elder Espinosa voluntarily surrendered to the Philippine National Police after President Duterte gave a “shoot on sight order” against him and Kerwin.
A raid at their ancestral home was conducted and at least 11 kilograms of shabu and bomb-making additives was retrieved.
Kerwin is still on hiding, but there are reports that he has been sighted in a hospital in Cebu.
