PASAY City, Philippines — The historical-biographical film “Felix Manalo” bagged the major awards for the 32nd Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies last Sunday, March 13 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.
Felix Manalo film was hailed as the best movie of the year and Joel Lamangan as Movie Director of the Year.
Piolo Pascual for the film “Silong” and Dennis Trillo for the movie “Felix Manalo” respectively tied for the Movie Actor of the Year.
Aside from the Movie of the Year award, Felix Manalo also won the award of the Movie Production Designer of the Year for Edgar Martin Littaua, Joel Bilbao and Danny Red.
The award for Original Theme Song of the Year was also won by the movie Felix Manalo, for its theme song “Ang Sugo ng Diyos Mula Sa Mga Huling Araw” sung by Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo. (Eagle News Service MRFB, Edited by DCY)
