While Senator Grace Poe expressed disappointment on the decision, she said she will continue the fight.
Poe will appeal the decision before the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) en banc, according to her Spokesman Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian.
Poe’s running-mate Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero also expressed his disappointment on the decision saying that it is both unfortunate and wrong.
Escudero said the decision ignored jurisprudence and interpreted the law to render injustice rather than justice.
But he said, they will, nevertheless, follow the process and keep their faith in the justice system. He also added that he firmly believe that Poe will prevail in the end. (Eagle News Service)
