LONDON, England (Reuters) — London Fire Brigade said on Monday (September 18) it was responding to a large fire at a warehouse and storage units on White Hart Lane in Tottenham district in North London.
Social media users shared a video from the scene where 20 fire engines and around 120 firefighters were working, according to the London Fire Brigade.
Station manager Sam Kazmanli described said the fire was large and had produced a lot of smoke in the air, prompting them to advise residents to keep their windows and doors closed as a precaution.
The cause of the fire was not known at this stage, the fire department said.
