(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has been included in Forbes magazine’s list of most powerful men in the world.
Duterte clinched the 69th spot, up from the 70th spot he got in 2017.
Chinese President Xi Jinping was at the top spot, followed by Russia President Vladimir Putin, who had held the number one rank for four consecutive years.
US President Donald Trump ranked number three.
Also in the top 10 are Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and India Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among others.
In including Duterte in the list, Forbes noted his “raw and vulgar vocabulary” and the war on drugs which reportedly killed many people.
Duterte’s inclusion in the list comes after he was included in Time’s list of “strongmen” in the world.
