QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Former Philippine National Police – Anti-Illegal Drug Group Sr. Supt. Alberto Ferro expressed regret that the group he headed would now be dissolved.
Ferro said that the group has many significant achievements in the fight against illegal drugs like the arrest of drug lord Kerwin Espinosa and the discovery of the mega-shabu laboratories in Pampanga and Isabela.
He also said that it is sad that because of the acts of a few crooked cops, the AIDG was disbanded.
