SMC chief Manuel Bonoan tapped to lead DPWH under next administration
(Eagle News) — President-elect Bongbong Marcos on Thursday, May 26, bared his picks for Trade and Public Works secretaries during his administration.
According to Marcos, he has asked former University of the Philippines president Alfredo Pascual to sit at the helm of the Department of Trade and Industry.
Meanwhile, SMC Chief Manuel Bonoan, Marcos said, has been tapped to head the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Marcos said Pascual has agreed to take the job.
Earlier, Marcos said Vice President-elect Sara Duterte has agreed to sit at the helm of the Department of Education.
Former Mandaluyong Mayor Benhur Abalos is expected to lead the Department of the Interior and Local Government while Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas chief Benjamin Diokno has been tapped to lead the Department of Finance.
