MANILA, Philippines — Starting April, free dengue vaccines will be distributed to public school students in the National Capital Region, Region 3 and Region 4-A. According to the Department of Health (DOH), said vaccines will be given to Grade 4 students and up.
The vaccine is composed of three doses which will be given every six months. According to the Philippine Society of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, dengue vaccines are already available in selected private hospitals.
