(Eagle News)—Cloudy skies with rainshowers are expected in parts of the country as the frontal system affects Northern Luzon and the easterlies affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Friday, May 3.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the frontal system.
PAGASA said landslides during severe thunderstorms and gusty conditions were possible.
Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, this time due to the easterlies.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms were possible.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, PAGASA said, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA said.
