(Eagle News) — Grab Philippines on Wednesday, Aug. 15, urged its passengers to avoid Edsa as their pick-up and drop-off points during rush hours.
“We request all passengers to avoid (doing this)” from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., and from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., the transport network company said in an advisory.
Grab made the announcement on the same day the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority held a dry-run of the drivers-only scheme.
On the same day, the MMDA said transport network company vehicles were also covered by the ban.
“This will prevent our drivers from violating the traffic scheme,” Grab said.
