(Eagle News)–A heavy rainfall alert has been hoisted over Northern Luzon.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are being experienced over Nueva Viscaya, particularly in Kayapa, Ambaguio, Bayombong and Bambang.
Pagasa said this may persist for one to two hours.
Light to moderate rains are also being experienced over Pangasinan, in all municipalities and cities except Bolinao, Anda, Agno, Sual, Burgos and Alaminos; and in Nueva Viscaya, particularly in Alfonso Castaneda, Dupax del Sur, Dupax del Norte; in Kalinga, in all municipalities and cities except Pinukpul; in Apayao; Mt. Province; and Ifugao.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards,” Pagasa said.
Residents along mountain slopes are also advised for possible landslides,mudslides, rock slides and flash floods.
