Heavy rainfall warning hoisted over M. Manila, four provinces

(Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has issued a rainfall warning across Metro Manila and four provinces.

In an advisory issued at 8 a.m, Pagasa hoisted a yellow warning level for Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan and Cavite as a result of “Domeng” enhancing the southwest monsoon.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are also so far affecting Floridablanca, Lubao, Masantol in Pampanga; Nasugbu, Tuy, Lian, Balayan, Calaca in Batangas; and Rizal.

Pagasa said the rains “may persist within two to three hours and may affect nearby areas.

“Expect light to moderate rains over Tarlac, Laguna and Quezon within the next three hours,” Pagasa said.

Pagasa earlier said “Domeng” would exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday.
