(Eagle News)–A heavy rainfall warning has been hoisted over Metro Manila and other areas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said apart from Metro Manila, a yellow warning, which means flooding is possible in flood-prone areas, is hoisted over Rizal and Cavite as well.
An orange rainfall warning is hoisted over Batangas and Laguna, where flooding is threatening.
Quezon is under a red warning, which means serious flooding is expected in flood-prone areas.
PAGASA said so far, light to moderate rains are affecting Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales and Nueva Ecija.
The weather bureau said these may persist within two to three hours and may affect nearby areas.
