(Eagle News) — Heavy rains are expected over Cavite, Batangas, Laguna and Quezon within the next two hours.
In an advisory issued shortly before 11 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the heavy rains will be accompanied by lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms.
It said the same conditions were already being experienced in Quezon City; Rodriguez, San Mateo and Tanay in Rizal; and Norzagaray, Bulacan; and may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.
Light to moderate rains, on the other hand, are experienced in Zambales; Morong, Balanga, Abucay, Hermosa in Bataan; and Lubao in Pampanga; which may persist within two hours.
“Expect light to moderate rain over Tarlac and Nueva Ecija within the next 2 hours,” PAGASA said.
