(Eagle News)——-The House of Representatives passed on third and final reading a bill seeking to allocate a P1.16-billion supplemental budget for Dengvaxia vaccinees.
House Bill 7449 that seeks to allocate P1,161,710,000 for the medical assistance of those administered with Dengvaxia was passed with a vote of 231-0 after President Rodrigo Duterte certified the bill as urgent.
In the Senate, Senator Loren Legarda, finance committee chair, had said a counterpart measure would be passed within the week.
Over 800,000 were given the Dengvaxia vaccine under the government’s vaccination program started during then-President Benigno Aquino III’s time.
