QUEZON City, Philippines – The selection process of municipalities and cities that will be included in the Commission on Election’s Random Manual Audit. The RMA Committee will be aided by the Philippine Statistics Authority. According to the COMELEC Resolution, one precinct is chosen for each congressional district for the RMA. The random manual audit aims to detect and prevent discrepancy by comparing the number of votes recorded by the vote-counting machines with the number of votes by manual counting. There 750 precincts included in the RMA.
