Iglesia Ni Cristo breaks 6 Guinness world records for the year 2015

The Iglesia Ni Cristo broke six Guinness world records in 2015.

This is in the face of challenges and attempts to sow disunity in the church from its expelled members.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo all the more became strong and united in the face of the false accusations from its detractors.
Bro. Edwil Zabala, INC spokesperson said, these Guinness world records are not to mean to brag — but to show the true unity of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo was granted four new Guinness World Records last New Year’s celebrations at the Philippine Arena.

The largest paying audience for a movie premiere – Felix Manalo movie, the most number of sparklers lit in relay with 891 people plus the most number of sparklers lit simultaneously and the largest fireworks display. The adjudicators are still trying to verify the exact number for this feat.

Dr. Sergie Santos of the FYM Foundation said the Guinness representatives are very strict when it comes to tallying, but the adjudicators are confident that the Iglesia Ni Cristo has broken the record.

Dr. Sergie also stressed that it’s not the duration but the number of firecrackers used.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo broke Norway’s world record of having the largest fireworks display with around 700,000 pieces lit up at the sky for almost an hour.

In all, the Iglesia Ni Cristo has broken 14 Guinness world records, the most prominent of which is the Philippine Arena being the largest indoor arena in the world.
