QUEZON City, Philippines – The Iglesia Ni Cristo conducted a “Lingap Sa Mamamayan” in Tondo, Manila where the religious organization gave away 17,000 shoes for charity.
The activity was originally planned to last from six in the morning to six in the evening but due to the size of the crowd, the distribution only lasted for two hours. The Iglesia Ni Cristo aims to set a new world record in donating the most number of shoes for charity.
