(Eagle News) BULACAN, Philippines – The Iglesia ni Cristo led a blood donation drive in two locations in Bulacan, at the Baliuag Gymnasium and at the San Ildefonso Gymnasium. The National Kidney and Transplant Institute and the Philippine Blood Center assisted the INC Social Services Department to bring this project to fruition.
It was still early in the morning yet Iglesia ni Cristo members, with the ministers and their families, were already lining up in the venues to donate blood. They gladly joined the blood donation drive as they know that this will be a great help not only to INC members but also to non-members as well.
According to the hospitals that benefited from the event, there is a need for continued blood donations as the number of people requiring blood transfusions continue to increase. Thus, they expressed their thanks to INC Executive Minister Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo for projects like this.
