From Windy Wellington to little big city Auckland, the members of the Church of Christ or Iglesia Ni Cristo gathered in the North Shore Events Centre to participate in New Zealand’s first Unity Games of 2015 and Family Fun Day.
The enthusiasm of the brethren to show their love of brotherhood was seen since the opening ceremony which included a parade of colors representing the different locales and group worship services in attendance.
The assistant district minister of the ecclesiastical district of Australia-East led the program with opening remarks and the games commenced.
Apart from the usual games of basketball and volleyball, the Christian Family Organization (CFO) officers organized various games and activities for families to participate in. The brethren were given an opportunity for socialization and entertainment as a way to strengthen their love of brotherhood.
Members of the Church of Christ in New Zealand continue to prove their unity with the church administration, not only in spreading the words of our almighty god but also in edifying their faith and strengthening their love of brotherhood.
