As part of its continuing commitment to help those in need, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) will be holding a Worldwide Lingap Sa Mamamayan or Aid To Humanity on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
Aside from the distribution of goodwill bags, medical and dental services will be made available to everyone who will attend the event, whether they are members of the Church or not.
The charity event will be conducted in various locations all over the world.
One of the Aid To Humanity events will be held in Seattle at the same Rainier Valley property that was recently the target of an arson attempt in the United States.
In Metro Manila, the Lingap Sa Mamamayan will be at the INC compound in Binondo, Manila where free medical and dental services will be given starting 9 a.m.
Guests will also be invited to evangelical missions in the locations where the charity events will be held.
This global charity event is in accordance with the Church doctrines upholding the Biblical teaching to love one’s fellowmen as one loves himself, and to do good to others whenever this is possible.
The Church will also be having another Lingap Sa Mamamayan in the Muslim Compound in Culiat, Quezon City on October 31, which coincidentally is also the birthdate of INC Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.
The Lingap Sa Mamamayan or Aid To Humanity is just among the many projects of the Church Of Christ under the administration of Brother Eduardo to help people across the globe.
The Church Of Christ which was first registered in the Philippines on July 27, 1914, celebrated its 104th anniversary this year, as well as its 50th year in the West. (Iglesia Ni Cristo-PIO release)
