The Department of Transportation – Maritime Industry Authority (DOTr-MARINA) has heightened the monitoring and inspection of ships at the Port of Manila and other major ports in the country in anticipation of the start of the School Year 2018-2019.
The intensified operations, which started last week, aims to ensure the safety of the riding public on port areas where the influx of passengers, especially students, is expected to increase this week due to the start of classes.
