IRR of national ID law may be out by October

(Eagle News) — The Philippine System Policy and Coordination Council hopes to finish the implementing rules and regulations of the national ID law by October.

Mary Grace Frances Tuble, spokesperson for the Philippine ID System, said in a phone patch interview over Net 25’s Agila Balita Alas Dose that so far, the PSPCC has begun discussions on what information will be included in the IDs.

“Meron po tayong pitong mandatory na information. Yung full name, birth date, place of birth, blood type at pati yung citizenship dahil pwede po ang resident aliens na kumuha ng PHIL ID, address and sex [gender] tapos yung optional po ay yung email, mobile number at civil status,” Tuble said.

She said that 14 other government agencies will help the PSPCC implement the national ID law.
