Isabela declares state of calamity

ISABELA, Philippines, August 17 (Eagle News) — The local government of the province of Isabela declared a state of calamity due to the prolonged dry spell that caused intensive damages to the corn industry of the said province. Said agricultural damage reached Php 705 million.
