(Eagle News) — The islands of Samar and Bohol as well as the southern part and some areas in the northern part of Leyte are suffering from island-wide power outage in the aftermath of the magnitude-6.5 earthquake.
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has not given an estimated time of restoration as it has yet to finish inspecting hundreds of kilometers of power lines in the affected areas.
According to NGCP, they are still conducting aerial and ground inspection to assess areas affected by the earthquake.
