(Eagle News)–Isolated rains will prevail in parts of the Philippines today as the northeast monsoon affects the country.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Bicol Region and the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy skies.
PAGASA said the northern section of Luzon and the eastern section of the country will experience moderate to strong winds, while the rest of the country will experience slight to moderate ones.
Meanwhile, as of 3 a.m. today, the eye of Typhoon “Wutip” was seen 1,830 kilometers east of Southern Luzon, still outside PAR.
It is packing maximum sustained winds of 190 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 235 kilometers per hour.
“Wutip,” which PAGASA said may enter PAR on Thursday, is moving north northwest slowly.
