Isolated rains forecast in M. Manila today

(Eagle News)—There may be isolated rainshowers in Metro Manila today, Thursday, Aug. 23.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said apart from Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon except for a few areas may experience the same conditions, including partly cloudy to cloudy skies, due to the southwest monsoon being enhanced by three weather systems outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

These include a low pressure area that may develop into a typhoon and typhoons Soulik and Cimaron.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience  cloudy  skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
