Isolated rainshowers expected in parts of PHL today, March 21

(Eagle News)–Isolated rainshowers are expected in some parts of the country on Thursday, March 21.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers were expected over Visayas, Mindanao and Palawan due to localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods were expected during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

According to PAGASA, partly cloudy skies were expected over Metro Manila and Luzon due to the ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

The eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate winds and moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters.

Northern Luzon, the eastern section of Central Luzon, and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have
light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
