Isolated rainshowers to prevail in parts of PHL as easterlies affect country

(Eagle News)—Isolated rainshowers are expected in parts of the country as the easterlies continue to affect the archipelago.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayam Valley, Bicol Region, Mindanao and Aurora will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Flash floods during severe thunderstorms are possible, PAGASA said.

According to PAGASA, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies.

Extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country  will have moderate to occasionally strong winds and moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters.

PAGASA said the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
