Israel Ambassador Effie Ben Matityau hosted a reception to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the independence of the state of Israel held at the SM the fort.
The Ambassador said, holding the Independence Day celebration in Manila is special for Israelis.
He recalled the contributions of two former Philippine Presidents in building relationships between the two countries.
