Japanese ship docks in Manila for three-day goodwill visit

(Eagle News)– A Japanese ship docked in a Manila port on Thursday, April 26, for a three-day goodwill visit.

The  Japan Maritime Self Defense Force’s  Osumi (LST-4001) carried over 100 crew members when it docked at Pier 15 of the South Harbor.

The Japanese ship , which is the frontrunner of the Japanese Navy’s Osumi-class tank landing ships, will be in the country until April 28.

This is the third ship of the Japanese Navy to visit the country.
