JUST IN: 3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, Aug. 2.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 69 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 3:22 p.m.

Depth of focus was 90 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
