(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Francisco Duque III as health secretary.
The appointment comes after Paulyn Ubial’s nomination as health secretary was rejected by the powerful Commission on Appointments.
Duque served as health secretary under then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s term.
