Gilas Pilipinas has been officially eliminated from the 2018 FIBA 3X3 World Cup being held at the Philippine Arena after Mongolia defeated Brazil to clinch the 2nd seed in Pool C.
The host nation still had a glimmer of hope to advance to the knockout stage despite losing their second game against Brazil, 20-19, but Mongolia secured the last qualifying spot in Pool C by beating Brazil, 19-16.
