JUST IN: Isko Moreno suspends classes at all levels today, Aug. 2, in Manila

(Eagle News)–Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has suspended classes on Friday, Aug. 2, in the city.

A Tweet by the Manila Public Information Office said  the suspension applies at all levels, in both public and private schools.

The Manila PIO said the suspension comes after the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration  raised the yellow rainfall warning in Metro Manila as of 8:26 am.

Earlier, the Manila PIO released a list of elementary and high schools where classes have been suspended for the day.

“Based on information from PAGASA, there may be flashfloods in flood-prone areas,”  the Manila PIO said.
