(Eagle News) — “Urduja” is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
But another weather disturbance could enter PAR on Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
According to PAGASA, the low pressure area was monitored 1,710 kilometers east of Mindanao, as of 8 a.m.
“The public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates regarding this weather disturbance,” PAGASA said.
As of 10 a.m., “Urduja,” for its part, was monitored 430 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Although already outside PAR, PAGASA said “sea travel remains risky over the western seaboard of Palawan due to the surge of the northeast monsoon.”
